Second-Hand Book Sale 

The second-hand book sale takes place in November/December each year, 
​ Boys are able to:
  • Drop off used textbooks, which the SGSWA will try and sell on their behalf
  • Buy pre-loved textbooks, at approx. 55% of the new book price. 

75% of the proceeds generated by the book sale are returned to the book sellers, with the remainder reinvested in the school community by the SGSWA.

2023 Second-Hand Book Sale - Form V for 2024 and boys going on the Cadet Promotions Camp 4-6 December

Boys going on Form IV Camp or Cadet Camp will have an opportunity to drop off their old (current SGS) textbooks on Friday 1 December from 7:30am until recess in the AMTF, please bring your completed 'Selling Form'. Form IV boys can also purchase books at recess and lunch. A limited amount of Form V books will be available for sale.

​2023 Second-Hand Book Sale - Forms I, II, III IV for 2024 (not going on the Cadet Promotions Camp)

Books you wish to sell can be taken to Edmund Barton Room (EBR) from 7:30am to 3:30pm on Monday 4 December and Tuesday 5 December.
Form V and Form VI (2023) boys can drop off any current SGS text books they no longer require from Friday 1 December in the AMTF before school and at recess.
Purchasing books will commence at lunchtime on Monday 4 December and continue until lunchtime on Wednesday 6 December. Parents are welcome to drop off and buy books. Entry is via the College Street gates.
